Glad you liked the article. William Lilly’s *Christian Astrology* has a lot of information about shipping events, including how to tell which part of the ship was destroyed in a shipwreck. Saturn in Virgo brings misfortune to the belly of the ship. I had followed the news reports with interest, and remember thinking “Good on you, Mr. Lilly!” when I saw the formal investigative report that concluded the plane broke from the impact on its belly. A most unfortunate incident, but let’s hope that this will make future planes and passengers safer, at least.

Haven’t had a chance to catch up on your blog for a while, so this post is probably a bit untimely–my apologies (hope you’ll still get a chance to see it). I found the Flight 447 article fascinating, but had one of those “Wow-isn’t astrology amazing/scary” moments at the end of the article.

You may recall that for weeks after you wrote this, all the aviation pundits were saying that the plane probably broke up in mid-air. Finally, near the beginning of July, the formal, initial French investigative report concluded (from the condition of debris and recovered bodies, etc.) that the plane most likely did not break up mid-air, but somehow hit the water nearly flat on its belly and disintegrated from the impact!

Your reading got it right weeks before the experts. Sends chills down my spine.

Thanks. I think that the Moon trine Sun in the chart showed the debris being found. I don’t know about the black box, and perhaps it is Mercury, but it could well be Saturn, as it is an object designed to capture (Saturn) data (Mercury sign). Saturn in Virgo in 4H shows the box is deep in the sea. With the Sun applying to Saturn, perhaps it will be found, but that’s a bit beyond the scope of the original question, so I’m not sure of its validity. As you say, it’s so sad and unnecessary.

I was just reading an article about the debris recovery efforts. People think we may never find the ‘black box’ flight data recorder, because it was lost in the ocean. Do you think it would be possible to determine its whereabouts from your chart? Mercury would probably be the best significator; it’s in the twelfth house, which doesn’t bode well for finding the data recorder. To me, it is interesting that Mercury is an earth sign, which suggests that the black box could be on dry land. However, Mercury is stationary, so maybe the symbolism is that the recorder is stuck deep inside the earth, under the ocean. What do you think?

My prayers went out to this group the second I knew, but I also know without doubt that where it went down would be somewhere in the Triangle, in which has enlarged a great deal lately with the Earth’s Axis shifting so drastically.
