I saw that sad news in the NY Times. As I understand it, the culprit is melamine, an industrial protein supplement that caused all those pet deaths in 2007, when it was added to animal food. I am not surprised it has been found in regular food, as well. The U.S. went through a very similar phase around the turn of the century, when it was becoming industrialized at a rapid rate; there were lots of unscrupulous people racing to make money at any cost.

I haven’t worked extensively with China’s horoscope (that is on my list, though) other than on this blog, but I note that the ruler of the 5th house of children in the eclipse chart is Mercury applying to the South Node, and it is also combust.

I just see your analysis on the eclipse visible in China. In mid September news broke out that many brands of baby milk sold in China contains artificial toxins. The “fake milk” was used in order to cheat the authorities so that it appears to have higher protein content. But it does much more harm to the babies. Over 6000 babies have been found ill due to it, and dozens have died. I think this incident is serious enough and it should be somehow signified in the chart. Do you see any link?
