Astrology of Football - NFL: 49ers v. Rams - Archangel Michael

Who will win? I only follow sports when they are local, but when I do, it’s more fun to try to figure out who will win in advance. I am not 100% right, but do rather better than 50/50, and have the winnings to show for it. This time, I asked the question: “Will the 49ers (my home team) win over the Rams on 9/17?” Here is the horoscope cast for the moment I asked the question:

49ers v. Rams

We have to assess the strength of “my” team, that is, the 49ers and that of the “enemy,” or the Rams. My team is shown by Venus, ruler of the 1st. How is Venus these days? Not good; it is under the Sun’s beams and heading into combustion, which is probably the most serious debilitation for a planet. Further, Venus is in Virgo in its fall – so the 49ers will not be playing their best on the 17th, and they are not that well-prepared, either. As if that wasn’t enough, Venus is in the malefic 12th house of self-undoing. They are their own worst enemy. Their house, the 1st house, is also afflicted by a very malefic but strong Mars in Libra. Yikes!

What about the Rams? They are shown by Mars in Libra – the same Mars afflicting the 1st house of the 49ers. Mars is in Libra, in its detriment, so they are not playing well at all. But their planet, Mars, is just outside the 1st house, dominating the home team by its presence. Mars is also under the Sun’s beams, but in the next sign, so it is somewhat less affected than Venus. All things being equal, the game looks rather better for the Rams, though with both Mars and Venus so afflicted, we hardly will be watching amazing football. Presumably the game will go to the team that is somewhat less bad than the other, and that team appears to be the Rams.

Wow; a woman who can talk Football AND Astrology—be still my heart….
The oddsmakers certainly agree with this chart, making STL -3 point road favorites. after reading this blog and your interpretation, I, of course, had to ask “Will I win $ Betting Rams Sunday?”…suffice to say, I’m not touching this game! (Moon applying SQ to Ruler2 and Moon separating Trine to Ruler 8) which in Bookmaking terms means the Rams win this game by 1 or 2 Points, ensuring that rams bet loses, failing to cover.Horrible.
Back to your chart: If the Moon shows how events will unfold, i’m curious…Moon applies by trine to Merc, then Changes sign where she Trines Mars(Rams).Would you read this MO/MA trine as a “final outcome” thus ensuring Rams Victory? If that’s the case how would one read that earlier Mo/ME trine…almost like you said, SF’s “self undoing” may play a big role here, IMO.

    the above should have read:
Moon applying SQ to Ruler2 and Moon separating Trine to Ruler EIGHT,not ruler smiley face…though the thought of the bookies$ does make me smile.

    Dear Chris,

Thanks for visiting my blog! Most charts do agree with the bookies, because…well, there’s a reason a team is a favorite. I’m not sure how helpful the Moon is in horaries about who will win, unless we have a very obvious aspect. Mercury doesn’t seem to rule anything interesting, except H12, so I am not sure what to make of it. The Mars trine? I’m thinking too far ahead to help much. The accidental dignity difference, now there’s something to blog about.

I thought the sunglasses smiley was shorthand for “bookie.”

    Warmly,
    Nina

The 49ers won! It was a close match, since they just won by a touchdown. Having come down on the side of the bookies, I thought it would be the Rams that would win. Well, that is the danger of finely balanced testimonies – ultimately, you have to make a decision based on your gut.

    Nina
