This article on Steve is amazing. My Son Troy is going to Thailand 10/2/08 - 3/3/08. His birthdate 16/8/1987 at 7.37pm. Melbourne Australia. I am worried at Nepturn will cusp the 12th and square his stelium in the 6th. Uranus is exact on his asc. My birthdate 21/1/55 at 10.25pm
Melbourne. Can you help with advice? Can I order an interpretation?

I thought I remembered StarIQ having something on Steve, and here it is - in the quotes:

"Steve Irwin was born with Sun in sensitive Pisces (February 22, 1962; 1:00 am**; Essendon, Australia), and conjunct the first magnitude star Fomalhaut, which means "fish's mouth". This bright reddish star brings fortune and power (Ted Kennedy and George Washington were also born on February 22), but when conjunct the Sun carries the "danger of bites from venomous creatures" (according to astrologer Vivian Robson).

Factor in Steve's eccentric, death-defying character (Sun opposite Uranus and Pluto) and his adventurous spirit (Mars conjunct Jupiter), and we get a man renowned for challenging fate. Predicting an early death is taboo in astrological circles, however, astrologer Richard Houck did just that in his book The Astrology of Death. The main clues involve simultaneous activation of the lunar nodes, the Fourth House cusp (endings), and surprisingly, Jupiter. Jupiter, as the traveling planet, brings the ultimate trip.

Many astrologers have already pointed out that transiting Saturn and Neptune were right on his Lunar Node axis when he died. Then, transiting Jupiter was exactly conjunct his deceptive Neptune in stinging Scorpio. And, transiting Uranus was very near his Fourth House cusp, bringing a sudden and unexpected ending. With his progressed Jupiter exactly conjunct his Sun, Steve Irwin had achieved his life's purpose.

**This birth time should be considered a ballpark figure, and comes to me through Australian astrologer Milton Black: "I wrote to Steve a number of years ago, and he thought it was very early in the morning, around 1:00 am". "

For what it's worth...? ;-) The chart showed Cap rising, at 00 degrees & change, but perhaps a late degee of Sag is possible? It's not very reliable info anyway, but I thought I'd let you know.

steves chart,... i knew about the time of his passing that the big saturn-neptune opp..was coming into full swing, and when i saw all that aquarius in steves chart i knew neptune ( the WATER CARRIER) was, conjunt his mars, south node...and few more of his planets..and hey how about saturn ...opposite all of that in leo (THE HEART).!!..perhaps his work will flurish..i have nooo doubt. i must also add that this was a very very sweet and kind man, a treasure for all spirits on every level! (ven conj sun !)

Dear Piper,

That's exactly right. If you look at his horoscope above, his Sun is at 2 Pisces. His other planets are in other signs. Did I manage to say something different somewhere?

Thank you!

Just a question I thought Feb.22 was Pisces. It starts at Feb.19-Mar.20. whereas Aquarius starts Jan20-Feb.18. So that would make steve irwin a pisces.

Well, darn it! I just discovered on further digging into your lovely website that we don't have Steve's birthtime. I have been doing the same thing as you with my website, and that is putting in beautiful art. You have done such a wonderful job it. Hats off!

You can bet your bottom dollar I'm going to be prowling around in here, stealing every idea I can from you.

There are two praying mantis on my window screen here, one outside the house, and the other inside. I find them intriguing. They seem to think, certainly have an intelligence. The indoors guy will probably live with me well into our frigid winter. I live in Idaho, US, at above 43°N. and a mile above the ocean.
